“I had no idea what kind of reception you’d get from the
students. But I was amazed how much they focused on you—let me tell
you, you really reached them. This is so important for the students
to see and experience. I have a student who I suspect hasn’t figured
out yet that he is gay. I can’t imagine trying to navigate that
experience in this setting. But here you show up, proudly being who
you are and presenting yourselves as positive role models for
students in need of them. I have no doubt you shaped or even saved a
life today.”
–Paula Boe, teacher at Humboldt Junior High School

“One Voice is one of the Twin Cities greatest assets—doing bridge
building across differences that few organizations are doing, or doing
so well. I want to support this work!”
