Jane Ramseyer Miller
Artistic Director

Jane Ramseyer Miller is in her 17th year as Artistic Director for One Voice Mixed Chorus, Minnesota’s GLBTA chorus and currently serves as Artistic Director in Residence for GALA Choruses. She holds Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Psychology from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Ramseyer Miller has served as Music Director for several church choirs as well as for TransVoices, Calliope Women’s Chorus, Fierra Voce Femmina, and Voices for Peace – a multi-cultural youth choir. Ramseyer Miller’s compositions are published by Yelton Rhodes Music and Pilgrim Press. She especially enjoys creative community collaborations and has created choral music with 15-Head Theater Lab, The Women's Cancer Resource Center, Shakopee Women's Correctional Facility, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Kairos Dance Theatre, Mu Daiko, Teens Rock the Mic and District 202 among others. In 2008 she received the GALA Choruses Legacy Award for her conducting, innovative programming and commitment to community outreach. In 2010 she was awarded the ACDA VocalEssence Award for Creative Programming and the ACDA Minnesota Advocate for Choral Excellence (ACE) Award.  GALA’s Artistic Artist in Residence.


Craig Coogan
Executive Director

Craig Coogan recently joined the One Voice staff as an expert in developing strategies and programs to help GLBTA and other nonprofit organizations achieve their operational and artistic goals. Craig brings experience in both the for-profit and non-profit arenas. He was a founding board member and served for ten years as Treasurer of the acclaimed Women’s choral group Vox Femina Los Angeles. He has produced independent movies and several award-winning documentaries and acclaimed original plays. He is a graduate of Syracuse University which prepared him well for his recent move from Los Angeles to Minnesota!


Randi Grundahl Rexroth
OVation Ensemble Coach

OVation Ensemble Coach Randi Grundahl is very pleased to be working with OVation and has enjoyed singing with this talented group of singers. She is also a choir director at the Visitation School in Mendota Heights and is music directing several shows in Hudson, Wisconsin, and at Macalester College. When she’s not conducting, teaching, or directing, she’s arranging and composing while trying to perform.

 



Rebecca Merrill
Operations Coordinator

Rebecca Merrill, a native of Minneapolis, is delighted to join the One Voice team. Rebecca is a graduate of Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa with a degree in Anthropology and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Rebecca has a history of working in nonprofits including recent internships at Arts Midwest working with the Midwest Arts Conference and at Graywolf Press. She is an avid reader and has worked at Barnes and Noble and Borders, Inc.

 

Carolyn Bruce
Special Events Intern

Carolyn Bruce is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Art History and recently moved to Minneapolis to pursue a Masters Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Carolyn is excited to work with the One Voice team and learn more about the planning, organization and execution of special events.


 

Scott Lykins
Accompanist

Scott Lykins recently joined the artistic team at One Voice as Accompanist. He began playing piano at age 5 in his native Brainerd, Minnesota, and studied privately for twelve years, gaining considerable experience in vocal and string collaboration. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Cello Performance and is a freelance artist around the Twin Cities. An advocate for the exploration of innovative music presentation, Scott is Founder and Artistic Director of the Lakes Area Music Festival in Brainerd, Minnesota and Managing Assistant for the inaugural season of the Minneapolis Mill City Summer Opera this summer, 2012.
