Sing with the One Voice Family!
Auditions for One Voice Mixed Chorus’ Spring 2017 season are now over.
You, yes, you can become a singing member of One Voice Mixed Chorus! We'd love for you to come sing with us!
One Voice is Minnesota's LGBT and straight allies community chorus and is made up of 125 singers from ages 17 to 75, and rehearses at Unity Church-Unitarian in Saint Paul from 7-9:30 pm on Monday nights. For our upcoming season, the exact number of openings will depend on the balance of returning singers. Most of our openings are for lower voices, but we will add singers to all voice parts.
Auditions are in 10 minute increments, and include a prepared solo, tonal memory exercises, sight-reading and singing with another voice. It is not a requirement to read music in order to sing in the choir, but we test every singer so that we can balance this skill within the chorus.
Please review the 2017 Spring Audition Packet for more info about where to go and what to prepare. If you are interested in auditioning next season and have any other questions, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
